Electronics For You magazine is divided into 4 major sections:
Technology
This is the backbone of EFY. This section occupies the largest share of editorial pages. Current tech trends and upcoming technologies get covered here. This section caters to the entire spectrum of readers of EFY—be it technical decision makers, business decision makers or DIYers. This section has relevance for global audiences as well.
Make in India
This is the ‘business’ section of the magazine with a special focus on business trends affecting electronics manufacturing in India. This section is targeted specifically at readers who have an interest in India’s electronics industry.
eStyle
This is the smallest section of EFY, and it focuses on the consumer side of electronics. Here, our aim is to ensure that our readers who are in sync with topics such as microcontrollers, embedded systems, deep learning, etc—are also aware of gadgets and technologies that can benefit them in their personal lives.
Do It Yourself (DIY)
While ‘Open Source’, ‘User Generated Content’ and ‘Makers’ are relatively new concepts in the tech arena, EFY has been championing them since the seventies. Through the DIY section, EFY has been sharing circuit designs, software code, and DIY projects which have been generated by EFY’s readers and tested at EFY Labs. The fact that every article published in the DIY section is first tested and then published is a key differentiator from various other media which share user-generated content as it is.
